The highest active volcano in Europe, with its 3340 metres in height, is a must for nature lovers and is one of the most surprising experiences to undertake on this beautiful island. We will discover the volcano and its landscapes by walking along the edge of ancient extinct craters, walking among ancient lava flows and reaching panoramic points with breathtaking views. We will then head to a historic refuge on the slopes of the volcano, located at an altitude of 1900 m, where you can relax comfortably while enjoying a hot chocolate inside one of the ancient chalets, admiring the beautiful scenery that only Etna can offer us!

Following in the footsteps of Al Pacino .. Our tour starts in Savoca, a characteristic medieval village. You will visit the famous Bar Vitelli, reliving the scenes from the film The Godfather, where you can enjoy a delicious Sicilian granita and see the photos taken during the filming of the film. Also not to be missed is the beautiful Church of San Nicolò, which was the setting for the marriage between the young Corleone and his bride Apollonia. Here are the fascinating Catacombs of the Convent of the Capuchins, a monastery whose crypts house the mummified bodies of monks and nobles of Savoca. Our quad experiences are off-road itineraries that will allow you to visit some of the most fascinated and best preserved natural sites on the eastern side of our beloved island. Etna Experience: immersed in the greenery of holm oaks, broom and chestnut trees, you will taste Etna from its lower altitudes (1000 a.s.l.), through ancient “trazzere” and wooded areas. Passing through extinct volcanic cones, you will also visit the inside of a lava rock extraction quarry, now abandoned. Alcantara Experience: the “Alcantara River Park”, famous for its renowned gorges and the natural canyon formed over the years, is an oasis where time seems to have stopped. Jump aboard one of our quads and walk a path surrounded by nature, from the dry river to the narrow streets of the historic center up to the secondary streams of the river. Do you want to take a dip in the natural reserve of Isola Bella to get to know and admire the flora and fauna that populate our seabed and then go sailing and go in search of Dolphins in order to observe them closely? Are you a lover of Cooking? Our tour will allow you to discover the typical flavors of traditional Sicilian cuisine. The departure is scheduled from Porta Messina, one of the two main entrances to the city of Taormina. Together with the chef you will move through the streets of the historic centre where you will first visit the fruit and vegetable market and then the fish market, selecting the products you will like the most to use during the cookery class. The experience will take place at a restaurant located in the historic centre of Taormina. Here you will be able to observe the chef at work, partecipate with him in the preparation of the dishes and learn his secrets . At the end of the lesson you will have lunch in the suggestive context of the restaurant, which rests on the ancient Greek-Roman walls that protected the city. The chef will also give you a gift of the recipes covered in the lesson so that you can use them again once you return home!
The excursion on Etna by off-road vehicle is an exciting journey through lunar landscapes, ancient woods and lava flows that tell the story of the ancestral force of the highest and most active volcano in Europe, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Starting from the north side, we will reach the historic flow of 1923 that reached the town of Linguaglossa, crossing a suggestive off-road route between expanses of black lava, flowering brooms and the remains of ancient rural settlements, such as an old palmento once used for winemaking. We will then continue through chestnut groves and oaks until we reach the lava front of the 2002 eruption, one of the most violent of the last hundred years, which left impressive marks on the landscape. The excursion continues along the panoramic Mareneve road to Piano Provenzana, at 1,800 meters above sea level, where after a short stop for a coffee we will visit the remains of the Le Betulle hotel, a symbol of the destructive force of nature. An intense experience, between wild nature and evidence of the power of the volcano, perfect for those who want to experience Etna up close, in an authentic and adventurous way.
