We will then move to Castelmola, a characteristic medieval village inserted within the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. From here, where time seems to have stopped, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ionian coast and Mount Etna. You will have the opportunity to stroll along the picturesque medieval streets and the remains of the historic Norman castle dating back to the 12th century until you reach the characteristic Bar Turrisi!
Following in the footsteps of Al Pacino .. Our tour starts in Savoca, a characteristic medieval village. You will visit the famous Bar Vitelli, reliving the scenes from the film The Godfather, where you can enjoy a delicious Sicilian granita and see the photos taken during the filming of the film. Also not to be missed is the beautiful Church of San Nicolò, which was the setting for the marriage between the young Corleone and his bride Apollonia. Here are the fascinating Catacombs of the Convent of the Capuchins, a monastery whose crypts house the mummified bodies of monks and nobles of Savoca. Then we will visit the village of Forza d’Agrò, characterized by narrow, winding streets, steep ravines and particularly fascinating viewpoints. Among the locations of the set we find the Church of Sant’Agostino, the protagonist of the scene in which Vito flees to the United States persecuted by Don Ciccio's men.
