The tour starts from Piano Provenzana and, on board off-road vehicles, you climb up to an altitude of 2900 meters along a lunar landscape shaped by the 2002 eruption, among black sand, lava flows and breathtaking views. Once you reach the North-East crater, an exciting walk begins among scoria and volcanic bombs, until you reach a spectacular panoramic point.
From here, the panorama opens like a curtain: the imposing Etna stands out against the sky, the valleys of "Leone" and "Bove" can be admired in all their splendor, and Sicily seems to stretch out before your eyes. The highlight? The sunset over Etna, when the sky is tinged with red and gold, and the mountain transforms into one of the most evocative places on the planet.

Not a simple excursion but a real experience. Reach 3000 meters with us and climb the highest and most active volcano in Europe. On board our Jeeps, we will also explore the 2002 craters together. The departure is scheduled from Piano Provenzana on the northern side of Etna and, after a short briefing, on board our special Jeeps we will reach an altitude of 3000 metres. Here, accompanied by our specialized volcanological guides, a trekking route will begin among lunar scenarios and a breathtaking view that you will take with you among the most precious memories of this experience.
Our quad experiences are off-road itineraries that will allow you to visit some of the most fascinated and best preserved natural sites on the eastern side of our beloved island. Etna Experience: immersed in the greenery of holm oaks, broom and chestnut trees, you will taste Etna from its lower altitudes (1000 a.s.l.), through ancient “trazzere” and wooded areas. Passing through extinct volcanic cones, you will also visit the inside of a lava rock extraction quarry, now abandoned. Alcantara Experience: the “Alcantara River Park”, famous for its renowned gorges and the natural canyon formed over the years, is an oasis where time seems to have stopped. Jump aboard one of our quads and walk a path surrounded by nature, from the dry river to the narrow streets of the historic center up to the secondary streams of the river. At the end of our tours you will feel like expert drivers and will take with you the memory of an unforgettable experience.
